

The Prophet (SAW) said: “Whoever reads Surah Yasin at the beginning of the day his needs will be fulfilled.” (Mishkat al Masaabih)

Narrated from Ma’qal Ibn Yassaar (RA), who said: The Prophet (SAW) said: “Recite Surah Yasin over your dead.” (Abu Dawood, Ibn Majah ) Ibn ‘Abbas (RA) says: “Whoever recites Yasin in the morning, his work for that entire day will be made easy and whoever recites it at the end of the day, his tasks till the next morning will be made easy.” (Sunan Darimi Jundub ibn Abdullah (RA) narrates that Rasulullah (SAW) said, “Whoever recites Surah Yasin at night seeking the pleasure of Allah, His sins will be forgiven.” Many pious people read it after Fajr salaah every day. But according to some hadith, it does seem to bring additional benefits when read either at night or early in the morning.
